Horror...
"I won't fail you- I'm not afraid." -Luke
"You will be." -Yoda
Truly a genre all its own, Horror has not yet been done justice in this review, but we will fix that as soon as our horror fans get a chance. In the meantime, some books from the other two genres may be able to fill in.
- H. P. Lovecraft
- Almost all of his works fall into this category. One of the masters of horror.
- Katherine Kurtz
- Knights of the Blood (Are there vampires in Germany? Were they once Christian? What happened to them during WWII?)
- Mercedes Lackey
- Summoned to Tourney (Eric tries to prevent the destruction of L.A. by using his Bardic talent against night-horror invaders)
- "Diana Tregard" series (Diana is a good witch who tries to crack mysteries with subjects like vampires, an Aztec cult, and a bad witch)
- Charlotte Boyett-Compo
- Bloodwind (Vampires in space. A bloody romance, with political and psychological overtones.)
- Nightwind (An incubus stalks a small Florida town in vengence for one woman's suffering.)
